While my old website is still on, here are some new photos for you!
I finally got a chance to see and photograph KMFDM and I must admit, that was quite a show! KMFDM were absolutely fabulous and so were their support. Kudos to Lord Of The Lost for brilliant warm up – I think I just made a new musical discovery!

It didn’t take too long until another Seraph Sin gig in Glasgow! Back to King Tuts as supporting act for Layaway, fans used their chance to mob the place and make it darker than it is…

Well that was a proper thrash metal hell we had another night in Glasgow. Sold out, absolutely packed Audio club and two smashing bands all the way from USA: Death Angel with support of Warbringer!

Some of you already know that this year I’m constantly on and off my Depeche Mode adventures, in relation to their new album “Spirit” and Global Spirit Tour. Being huge DM fan and knowing that the time, when will hit the road is soon (they usually release album every 3-4 years in the past two decades), I prepared myself and so far, been to three concerts in European leg. I went with the friend of mine to the Amsterdam (Ziggo Dome), which was the second date on the tour and had so far the smallest capacity of 17 000 (I think), followed by Copenhagen (Telia Parken) with solid, nearly sold out 44 000 and London (Olympic Stadium) with outstanding 80 000 – first such huge crowd to be in for me. And as for London – it was definitely triumphant come back home for the band: the crowd was brilliant and the band seemed in really good mood! Even the rain didn’t manage to ruin one of the biggest UK show (in bands history!) for Depeche.

I was photographing the Copenhagen concert and, feeling inspired, wrote a review as well.

Ausgebombt!

If my memory doesn’t fail me, I have seen Sodom my very first time, when they were actually visiting Vilnius (for the first time, too!) 11 years ago. Since then, I haven’t had a chance to see them again. Until now. For the first time Sodom playing in Scotland… Ha… there is something with those first times and Sodom, isn’t it?

To put it in short, the gig was very concentrated (only one supporting band – Blackened Ritual) and energized – everything you need in thrash metal gig! It was great – lots of new and legendary tracks, moshpit and nearly two hours setlist from Sodom!

Pictures can be seen at Festivalphoto net:
